Community Guidelines

These Community Guidelines apply to all users of ee-musix and govern responsibility for uploaded content as well as the consequences of violations. The platform is operated by Harald Frey, frey | interaktive medien, Ludwigstr. 151, 76751 Jockgrim (see Imprint). By registering a user account, you agree to these guidelines.

Responsibility for Your Own Content.
ee-musix allows you to upload your own music, videos, images, and texts and make them visible publicly or to other members. You are solely responsible for all content you upload. This applies in particular to compliance with the copyright, trademark, and personal rights of third parties: you may only upload content for which you hold the necessary rights yourself or for which you have express permission from the rights holder.
ee-musix does not review uploaded content in advance for legal permissibility, but instead acts upon receiving a specific report (see "Reporting Violations" below).

License to Your Content.
By uploading content, you grant ee-musix the necessary, non-exclusive right to store your content on the platform, process it technically (e.g., format conversion), and display it within the scope you intend (public, group-internal, or private, depending on your own settings). Your rights to the content itself remain unaffected.

Prohibited Content.
Content (text, images, videos, audio) that is not permitted on ee-musix includes in particular content that:

  • is pornographic or shows sexually explicit material;
  • shows child or youth sexual abuse material or depicts minors in a sexualized manner (severe violation, see below),
  • glorifies or trivializes violence;
  • is racist or discriminates against or demeans people based on origin, religion, gender, sexual orientation, disability, or similar characteristics (hate speech);
  • contains political party or election advertising of any kind – ee-musix is a music and art platform, not a venue for political advertising, regardless of political orientation;
  • contains propaganda, symbols, or emblems of anti-constitutional or extremist organizations, in particular far-right extremist content;
  • violates applicable law, in particular the copyright, trademark, or personal rights of others (e.g., copyrighted music or film works without permission from the rights holders, such as pirated copies or unauthorized recordings); or
  • incites or glorifies criminal acts.

Enforcement Measures.
If content violates these guidelines, it may be removed or hidden by our moderation team; every such action is logged along with the reason for it. In the case of serious or repeated violations, the affected user account may be suspended or permanently excluded from ee-musix.

In the case of child or youth sexual abuse material, in addition to the immediate, permanent suspension of the user account, a report will be filed with the relevant law enforcement authorities; the content will not simply be deleted but will first be preserved, insofar as legally required.

Indemnification.
You agree to indemnify ee-musix against all third-party claims asserted against ee-musix due to a violation of these Community Guidelines by content you have uploaded, including the costs of a reasonable legal defense. This does not apply insofar as you are not responsible for the legal violation.

Reporting Violations.
You can report violations of these guidelines or legal infringements by content on ee-musix at any time by email to info@frey-imedien.de or via the support ticket system.

Final Provisions.
These Community Guidelines may be amended as needed, for example to cover new platform features. Should any provision of these guidelines be invalid, the validity of the remaining provisions shall remain unaffected.
